World Peace

Today my husband and I went to a Universal Peace Worship. Our dear friend, Bob, who lives at the bottom of our driveway, and probably prays that our car never smacks into his garage on snowy days, invited us to this beautiful event. It was so nice to be with people of all religions, uniting and asking for Peace.

Each person spoke of their religion, be it Buddhism, Christianity, Goddess Worship, Hinduism, Islam, Judaism, Native American Spirtuality or Zoroastrianism. The message of each religion dealt with love, harmony and beauty and going toward them.

Some sang, some chanted, some read or just spoke. We all shared our stories. We were all civil and we wished for World Unity. We spoke of the Crisis in the Middle East and we all felt each others frustration, that it has spiralled out of control.

We all prayed for Peace.
