Democracy for Westchester endorses John Hall

"John Hall's record of leadership, lifelong commitment to social justice and environmental protection, and history of public service make him the clear choice for the 19th Congressional District," said Westchester attorney Alan Goldston, Chairman of DFW. "He will represent the people of the Hudson Valley with distinction in Congress. His strong voice, clear vision and fierce intellect will be a welcome change from the soon-to-be retired Sue Kelly."

DFW member Amy Ferrara of Croton, a retired teacher and mathematician, said that she and other DFW members will join volunteers already working for the Hall campaign to contact registered Democrats and help get out the vote for the September 12 Democratic primary. "Then," Ferrara said, "we'll work right through to the general election until every voter knows John Hall as we do, and that we need him to stand up for us in Washington."

Democracy for Westchester is a grassroots political action organization, part of the national coalition of Democracy for America, that works to register and educate voters and to elect fiscally responsible, socially progressive candidates.
