John Hall, Democrat for Congress, Releases Energy Plan for Indian Point

Economic Growth to Result from a New American Energy Economy

Peekskill, NY: Today John Hall, Democratic candidate for Congress in District 19, released a detailed 34-page plan for a national Sustainable Energy Center to be located at Indian Point. He called for the closing of Indian Point, and for regional replacement of the energy as part of a long-term national commitment to sustainable energy.

John Hall proposes an initiative to build and operate a research and development facility for sustainable energy – the first of its kind in America – on or near the site of Indian Point, to create jobs and job training for the energy future of America, and to teach people of all ages about sustainable energy through research opportunities, curriculum development, and on-site experiences.
