Tom Fox's body was found Thursday evening, three days after he didn't appear in a video of Christian activists who had been taken hostage in Iraq.

Fox worked with incarcerated Iraqis, often serving as the only link between them and their families on the outside.

Fox also escorted shipments of medicine to clinics and hospitals and worked to form an Islamic Peacemaker Team.

Does it still make Limbaugh happy? Digby remembered what he had to say last November and Media Matters reported about it:

... They wouldn't have been kidnapped because they wouldn't have been there in the first place if Bush hadn't gone and caused the war and created all these terrorists. I mean, these people are liberals, they're warped. Well, I mean, that's why there's -- I'm telling you, folks, there's a part of me that likes this. Probably, even with this, though, you know, they're not going to see the light of day. They're not going to --

At that point, Limbaugh paused before saying, apparently to someone in his studio, "I know, let them take me out of context. I don't care anymore."

Update: Details emerged about Fox's death as at least six more people, including an Iraqi TV journalist and a human rights activist, were killed in drive-by shootings Saturday and two bombs targeted U.S. convoys in Baghdad and north of the capital, wounding one soldier. [more]

Furthermore, it appears that our nitwit of a president has come out with a statement.

Bush said Saturday the greatest threat to U.S. troops — and to the future of a peaceful Iraq are remote-controlled, homemade bombs that terrorists hide in cars or set along roads. The president was to receive a briefing Saturday about the devices from Montgomery Meigs, a retired general who heads a Pentagon organization with a multibillion-dollar budget to find ways to counter the threat.

"We're harnessing every available resource, the ingenuity of our best scientists and engineers, and the determination of our military to defeat this threat — and we're not going to rest until this danger to our troops has been removed," Bush said in his broadcast.
Has our president just figured out that the soldiers are being killed by road side bombs? Since the war in AFGHANISTAN began soldiers have been targeted and our president is just coming to this realization.
