The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee

I went to see this musical tonight at Bushnell Theatre in Hartford. If you get a chance to see it (I believe it's on broadway), I highly recommend it. It's one of the funniest musicals I have ever seen!

I knew it was going to be good with one of the opening lines that went something like this. "Our celebrity guest pronouncer, Joseph Lieberman, cannot make it tonight. . . . . you see, he's tired . . . . . he needs some rest. It's okay, though. He'll be fine. He's independent."

The audience howled with laughter. It was priceless! With that, the show went on and continued with absolutely hillarious material.
