A little noticed anniversary

In a little noticed anniversary Sunday, we passed three years since 'bring it on' day. You remember, the day that the President of the United States responded to a few sporadic incidents with a dare for Iraqis who hadn't surrendered to attack American troops.

They complied, the rate of attacks jumped quickly upward in the weeks following the dare, and since then hundreds and hundreds of American troops have been killed by attackers in Iraq.

The idea that the President of the United States would urge foreign enemies of the United States to attack American troops is cowardly, treasonous, and you know darn well that if a Democrat had said anything even remotely like that conservatives would call it an impeachable offense.

But so typically just an 'outrage of the day' for a Bush administration which continues to outrage daily, that no one even stops to remember that anymore.
